Interested why I decided to make jewelry?

Let’s talk about my work. I don’t mind talking about it since my work is my hobby (lucky me). I think that every student of french language and comparative linguistics (I finished my studies already, but a few years ago I fitted to profile) has at one point enough of phonetics, syntax and morphology. I reached that point in May 2010 (yes, during exams, so what!). As a result of grammar overdose and in the name of my sanity, I decided that I need a productive hobby (since watching Six feet under over and over again apparently doesn’t count as a productive hobby). So I got dressed, took my wallet and went to the nearest Art shop where I bought polymer clay. And I was hooked.

My hobby eventually turned into an obsession. At first, I was making polymer clay figures, but slowly I switched to making jewelry. And it is in jewelry making that I found my passion. All colors, all sizes, all shapes. I love them all. Made from polymer clay, modeling material, clay, wire, resin. I love them all. But nothing in my life goes without drama. In this case the drama was – I have too much jewelry, I have to sell it, I don’t want to sell it, because it’s MINE. I decided to end my obsession with mine mine mine precious jewelry because I didn’t want to turn into Gollum (yes, I’m also nerdy and geeky, bite me. It seems I’m also childish. Sorry about that. Just kidding – bite me).
