Traditional black and white photography means that computers were not used in the creation of my prints. Every step of the process from visualizing a scene to hand printing in a darkroom is done manually. There is no 'undo' button if I make a mistake so each finished print is the culmination of a series of deliberately planned and expertly executed techniques. No two prints will be exactly alike because I only make one print at a time.
