Stg III Breast Cancer Survivor rekindles craft during chemo

Hello and welcome to Chewsy By Design!

My name is Annie Chew. I stumbled onto Etsy back in late 2008 early 2009 during Chemo while fighting stage 3 breast cancer and have been addicted ever since. During chemo while sick in bed for a few months with nothing to do my crocheting skills were rekindled and I've been doing it every night since!

I come from a family that did crocheting and sewing as I was growing up, so I’ve been doing it since I was a little girl and proud to say here I am years later about to turn my hobby into an actual profession because I enjoy crafting things so much.

Here you will find all sorts of accessories for both your wardrobe and your home including some of my original crochet patterns as well. I do special orders, so if you find something posted but would like it in a different color, stitch, style or yarn…feel free to “convo” me to discuss a completed project or contact me through the alchemy feature. I'd be happy to create that special custom item for you or for your loved one as a gift.
