Adalea's Designs is currently going thru a re-vamp. Please excuse the construction mess - and the fangs - as I re-do my little shop here. I will be taking my items off the shelves for a bit so I can dust them off before putting them back up all shiny and new(er). Please be patient as I make changes, my work elves are currently on strike, so I have to do all the work myself and I'm just not as fast or have magic like my work elves. Maybe I should invest in Oompa Loompas...

Welcome to my little virtual handmade jewelry shop here in this little corner of the interwebs.

At Adalea's Designs, you'll find an eclectic collection of beaded jewelry. Each piece is made by my two hands whenever the bead muses feel like whispering in my ear - usually after I've given them coffee. I put a little bit of myself into every piece I make - usually it's a bit of my soul but sometimes, mostly Wednesdays, it's a little bit of my DNA.
(The bit of soul is not enough to make a deal with the devil nor is the bit of DNA enough to frame me for any crimes you plan to commit while wearing my jewelry. Please do not commit any crimes while wearing my jewelry.)

I won't bore you with lines and lines about how beautiful and unique and awesome my jewelry is because only you can really decide that by taking a look at my pretties. I also can't really tell you what designs you'll find in my shop from time to time because, no matter how hard I try, I can't predict the future. So, you'll just have to keep coming back to see what I've been up to, bead wise, won't you? I'm convinced (and not just because of the voices in my head) that each piece I make is meant for someone. So, that's another reason to keep coming back because I'm sure you'll eventually find "your" piece.

What I will tell you is all the wonderful things you need to know about my jewelry:

My jewelry is so freaking beautiful that it's illegal to wear it in 13 states for fear of causing accidents when people stop suddenly to ogle your beads.
(Okay, that's a bit of a fib - it's not illegal, as far as I know, to wear my jewelry in any state. Nor would I suggest you attempt to bribe a police officer with a piece of my jewelry.)

My jewelry will imbue you with superpowers. When wearing a piece of my jewelry, you may be able to walk thru walls, teleport, read minds or even grow your fingernails really long.
(Superpowers not guaranteed.)

My jewelry keeps aliens from reading your thoughts.
(This one's true cause I have never been abducted by aliens when wearing a piece of my jewelry. Of course, I also always have my tin foil hat on but that's just a secondary precaution. One of my necklaces should be fine to keep you safe from our little gray space friends. )

My jewelry makes a fabulous gift for that special girl in your life.
(Or guy, who am I to judge?)

My jewelry would look stunning on any of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
(A girl can dream, can't she?)

I'm also proud to announce that not a single howler monkey was harmed in the making any of my jewelry and every singe one of my pieces is 100% fat free.
(Even though they are fat free, I wouldn't recommend eating my jewelry no matter how tasty they look.)

Every piece of my jewelry is shipped free anywhere in the USA and at a discounted rate of $6.45 for anywhere else.
(Except Never Never Land, Narnia or Smallville because those places don't really exist no matter how much we want them to. )

I'm very much on the custom made item bandwagon, if you have something in mind that you don't see here or see anything here that you like but would like it a different length or even a different color(s), just contact me and I'll let you know if it's something I can do.

My jewelry is modeled by my darling friend Tiberius, who is just a lovely accent to all my lovely jewelry.
