is framed, matted and ready to hang. Coney Island Photos are
in 10 x10 frames, the florals are in 6 x 6.
Beth Baptiste, a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design began her inspirational and influential photo career as an assistant to legendary photographers Arthur Elgort and Irving Penn. Her pictures have been published editorially in magazines such as Vanity Fair,Rolling Stone and Paper Magazine and she has shot visionary portraits of personalities such as Daniel Day Lewis, Debi Mazar, Natalie Merchant, Philip Glass, John Mellencamp, and Madonna among many others. Portrait work has been her raison d'etre, but the allure of all things lush and floral and the eccentricities of Coney Island havebecome a perfect diversion for her visual imagination. Both her black and white photos and those in shocking color are strong, graphic, and emotional. She believes in the purity of composition and does not crop
her images. Simplicity does more for her than heavy manipulation and alteration- preferring to find the essence of the subject in the photo, and that element is key to her work.

What are the shipping costs?
I ship immediately by USPS Priority Mail insured-this is included in the shipping price on each image. Each print is shipped in a sealed polypropylene sleeve inside a flat, heavy board mailer. I care about my work and make sure it gets to you perfectly!
Images of Coney Island were inspired by the many trips I took with Debi Mazar the actress- most of the trips were in the winter accompanied by many Nathan's hot dogs, and views of the infamous Polar Bear Club.
