Welcome to my little space on the net!

All that Sparkle is Not Gold is started purely out of my love for handmade and vintage jewelry. My love affair with anything pretty and sparkly started when I was in my teens. As a typical asian, my grandmother would tsk tsk at me and tell me that I am wasting my money buying all these costume jewelry and that it is totally impractical. To her, only gold is a practical buy.

However these days, unless you are wearing a diamond ring the size of a grape, your practical gold and diamond jewelry is going to hardly draw sighs of envy. On contrary, a fun, quirky, individualistic piece of jewelry could elevate you to the status of the Style priestess instantly.

I go for old vintage charms for quirkiness, uniqueness and practicality. Quirky and unique because of the old world charm it contains, practical because it is recycling and a reinvention of something old. I will not stop driving but I can do about this much for our Mother Earth.

And oh, I forgot to mention too... they are not priced to break your bank either, so your own grandmother cannot tsk tsk at you and tell you that you are wasting your money buying another impractical piece of jewelry.
