Ambrosia and Bliss are two words my family uses often to describe things they love. I use materials that look or feel lovely because they're wonderful to work with. I'm happiest when I create pieces that can be used or worn instead of simply looked at. I get much of my inspiration from the outdoors. I'm a happy contributor to the Phat Fiber Sampler Box (www.phatfiber.com) beginning in March 2009. It's an honor to be included with so many other talented artists and artisans. My shop listings will include references to fellow Phat Fiber contributors when I use their yarn or fiber.

My friend Deb passed away May 18, 2009 after a long battle with leukemia. In her honor, I will donate 5% of my sales to the National Marrow Donor Program at www.marrow.org. A transplant gave Deb an extra two and half years of life and time with her young daughter. I encourage everyone to consider joining the registry as a potential donor.
