Regarding ceramic pieces - Often during firing teeny bits of the clay bottom stick to the shelf, leaving imperfections on the foot of the piece. When these "flaws" are significant it is noted in the description and a discount is reflected in the listing price. Insignificant imperfections are not noted. All such flaws are considered part of the piece's uniqueness. Photos of the feet/bottoms of pieces are included for your perusal.
