Welcome
Dear Friend,
All the journals, guestbooks, sketchbooks and notebooks in my shop are handmade by me in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio. I also do all the packaging and shipping myself, using both new and recycled materials.
Each book is made individually, so they are truly each one of a kind. I do not use stock photos because the journals you see in the photos is the actual journal that is for sale.

Payment
GENERAL
All payments must be made at the time of purchase or within the time frame specified by Etsy's policies/Terms of Use.
VT RESIDENTS
Vermont Residents must pay the 6% sales tax. It will be added via Etsy and reflected on your invoice. Please contact me with any questions.
PAYPAL
In addition to Etsy's Direct Checkout, I accept payments via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to pay with PayPal, and can use your credit card, debit card, or e-check. (E-checks take 4-7 days to clear.)
CUSTOM ORDERS
100% payment is required in advance for me to begin work on a custom order.
Shipping

I ship to your Etsy address. If you are paying via PayPal, to avoid confusion please be sure your Etsy and PayPal addresses match.

Listed items ship within 2 business days of payment clearing, and are always much more amazing in-person than their photos could possibly convey. (E-checks take 4-7 days to clear). If I can not get an item out within this time frame, I will send an email to the address associated with your Etsy account letting you know this and when you can expect it to ship.
Once your item has shipped, I will message you via Etsy with the date it was shipped, when to expect your order, and any tracking number associated with your package.

ACEOs, CARDS, PRINTS and other flat paper art will be shipped in a sturdy envelope, sandwiched between recycled cardboard for maximum protection.
PAINTINGS on stretched canvases will be padded for protection and shipped in sturdy boxes. Large paintings will ship professionally in mirror boxes with insurance.
JOURNALS and SKETCHBOOKS
ALL:
Small journals will first be packaged in a clear plastic bag before shipping. Larger journals will be wrapped in tissue paper.
USA: FREE
USPS First Class - 3 days.
USPS Priority - 2 - 3 days.
Travel journals are shipped USPS First Class in a bubble mailer or small box, or Priority in a small flat rate box. Larger books or multiple books will ship USPS Priority in a new or recycled box, or medium flat rate box. Tracking or Delivery confirmation is always included.
CANADA: FREE
USPS First Class International
Orders to Canada can take one to two weeks for delivery.
Please plan accordingly. Tracking is not provided by USPS for First Class international mail. Contact me to arrange USPS Priority International with Tracking prior to purchase. Contact me to arrange insurance prior to purchase.
Buyers are responsible for any tariffs, customs fees, etc. incurred.
ELSEWHERE:
USPS First Class International
Orders Elsewhere can take as many as three weeks.
Please plan accordingly. Tracking is not provided by USPS for First Class international mail. Contact me to arrange USPS Priority International with Tracking prior to purchase. Contact me to arrange insurance prior to purchase.

*Rarely* do items get lost in the mail. I take appropriate precautions by packing the items well, including the shipping details inside the package, and always include Tracking for domestic orders when available - (USPS doesn't allow Delivery Confirmation for domestic mail that is small/thin enough to be considered "regular mail", or for First Class international).
If you are concerned that an order may get lost or broken, please contact me before purchase and I will be more than happy to adjust your invoice to include insurance or additional postal services on your package.

Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Buyers are responsible for shipping charges when returning any item.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase you have 14 days from receipt to return the item to me in the same condition and packaging for refund or exchange. Once I have received the item and deem it to be in the same condition as it was originally shipped, I will be happy to give you a refund of the amount you paid minus original shipping charges, or send you an item from my shop of equal value (buyer is responsible for additional shipping charges for new item.)

CUSTOM ORDERS
I love making custom hand-bound books! They make wonderful guestbooks, scrapbooks, gifts for journalers, writers and artists, too! Customize the page paper, cover art, cover paper or even provide your own vintage cover.
