Thanks for visiting Anandi's Laboratory! As you can probably tell, I love words, bright colors and symmetry.

I also love recycling old jewelry I find in thrift stores, and spreading the word of science and technology through my GeekMagnets. I hope you enjoy shopping here. Come back often to check for new items!

Everything is made by my own two little hands in my smoke-free studio. My two dogs hate the noises from my studio so they stay out of it. :)

I love custom orders - some of my most fun projects have come from customers' custom requests. You can use my stamped tags for all kinds of things, so use your creativity and let me know what you want!! I've made everything from a wedding guest book nameplate, to runner ID tags for shoes to kids' backpack tags, to doggie and people luggage tags.

Payment

Please pay immediately after purchase on Etsy. You can use Paypal (easiest), Google Checkout or Amazon Payments. If you just want to pay via credit card, select the 'PayPal' option and on that first PayPal screen you can enter your credit card details without needing a PayPal account.

Let me know if you plan to use Google Checkout or Amazon Payments in 'Message to Seller', with your Google or Amazon Payments account email address, and I'll send you an invoice. (Please note, you need to have your account setup for Amazon Payments - a regular Amazon.com account won't work, unfortunately.)

Sorry, I do not accept checks or money orders at this time, nor am I interested in offers to trade.

If you are local (Seattle or Eastside) and want to pick up your purchase in person to save on shipping, just let me know in Message to Seller. I'll refund the shipping price and we can arrange to meet for delivery.

**Note: WA state residents will be charged 9.75% sales tax.

Shipping

I ship via USPS 1st class mail, within 2-3 days of order, unless it is a custom made item, in which case it'll take me 14-18 days to create it. I can add a gift card if you like.

All jewelry ships for a flat rate, regardless of the number of items purchased. Pet ID tags ship in a flat envelope, but all other items ship as a 'parcel' and within the US they have Delivery Confirmation. Unfortunately, tracking is not available on packages traveling outside the US unless you want to upgrade to Express Mail - let me know if you're interested.

If you need your item sooner, please send me an Etsy conversation (use the 'contact anandi' link on my store homepage) and we can work out a faster shipping method and the additional charges. Rush custom orders (less than 2 weeks to ship) will be an additional $15 per item, a max of $30 per order for multi-item orders. My current order load will determine whether I can accomodate a rush order. I can offer either USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail, but those options may be limited outside of the US.

I do ship worldwide, but I am not responsible for customs duties owed on packages. I also cannot mark purchases as "gift" or change the value reported on the customs form.

Refunds and Exchanges

I want you to be thrilled with your purchase. I will accept returns for non-personalized items over $20 if you convo me within 3 days of receipt, and ship the item back to me without damage. I do not refund the shipping cost.

For custom personalized items, I will work with you to make it right. Just contact me and let me know your concern.

I guarantee my work for 1 year from date of purchase, for normal, careful wear of jewelry items. Just contact me and we can work out the repair.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Please note that the nature of handstamped items is that they *look* handmade, rather than machine-engraved. I try my best to keep everything straight and even, but I am not a robot. If you are really unhappy with your item (of course I hope you won't be!), please contact me and let's work something out.

I would love to hear from you regarding a custom order, or a wholesale inquiry. If you see something you like in my 'Sold Items' list, and want one for yourself, just ask. Chances are, I'll be able to make it again.
