Anangka Arts: Providing Printed Magick

Anangka Arts provides printed magick. As an artist and a witch, I teeter on the fringes between art and fetish. Material, like seeds and human hair find their way into my images. Collage, a ready medium, works like the therapist's sand tray as I cut and paste-- the images unfold into their own archetypal synthesis. In the recreation of their mythos, I find I am but the medium in the larger sphere of the collective unconcious. I also work in pen and ink, some pencil and charcoal, as well as assemblage mixed media sculpture.

Currently, I am working on one commission (a memory assemblage piece), and depending on the size of the project, I can take on two more assignments with a winter holiday deadline. Inquire.

As for custom orders for the holidays (for example, "I want six of these blanks by this date" now is the time.

My greeting cards are printed by a certified P.A.C.E (Partners for A Clean Environment), local, sustainable and independent printer called Copy Experts. They use 100% wind power, quality recycled papers and aim at re-forestation (aggressive South American tree planting) while aiming for 90% waste diversion. My original collages use at least 75% upcycled materials (old magazines, books, calendars, broken fairy lights, lost beads, fabric scraps, doll parts, stale seeds, and other found, lost, broken, misprinted, neglected, abused, thrown out and/or dumpster-dived objects). My fine art prints, are not all as environmentally savvy BUT are museum quality, Giclees. I currently have a few prints created using earth "friendlier" materials, which are also vegan. For those locals, to celebrate their 20th year, the Vox Feminista shows have hit their stride. I will have a table of printed magick set up at each show. I will also be at the following market:
