welcome to ANEMONE,
a whimsical creature dancing in the sea AND a vibrantly colored flower with a WARM passion for creative craft...


Lies (please pronounce 'lis') offers clothes and accessories for babies and toddlers : pinafores, dresses, skirts, hats... from a cherished tree/bird/flower/kimono themed fabric stash.
Her oldest daughter Lieveke (pronounce 'Lee-va-ca') and baby daughter Noor test-pilot the garments.

We believe in 'hand-and-home-made', everything we offer for sale in this little shop is made and designed by us here in New Zealand on our 'kitchen-table', with the aid of a sewing-machine and a cutting-mat, NOT outsourced or commercially manufactured. We use a range of new and recycled handpicked and quality materials. We are convinced that a little different and irregular shows more love and spirit than a flawless conveyor stitch or a generic photocopy. Most of our creations are one offs, but we are always very happy to help you with a custom order, please ask via convo.
