I've been crocheting for a long time now. I think of it as a link between the generations - I crocheted with my grandmother and now I'm crocheting for my granddaughter. There are a lot of exciting things happening in the world of crochet today but I also see people re-thinking use of the old pieces and patterns and finding new ways to wear or use vintage-appearing items.
