Sewing & Quilting is the fabric of America, encompassing rich history, art and story. I recently read this statement and It is so true. I grew up in rural America where everything was handmade. I used to think we were poor because Mom made all our clothing, table accessories, etc. I was very young.

I now know the true value of handmade. The favorite table setting and placemats become an heirloom the same way the favorite cookbook does. A Christmas tree skirt passed down to another generation. AnnieKDesigns is about adding simple touches that enhance your home, yourself and your pet's life.

A glance at your table, remembrance of a gift; something you treasured; a favorite memory. A pouch to carry items in your purse - pretty, functional, washable, useful - adds a smile to that moment. Reachng for the shoe bag or laundry bag for another trip, evoking memories of other fun-filled vacations.

I choose only high quality quilting fabrics purchased from a variety of sources. The batting, fleece interfacing, Insul Bright and cotton batting are all made in the USA.

All fabrics are prewashed and preshrunk so that the excess sizing and dyes are removed. All fabrics unless otherwise noted are machine washable warm, tumble dry low' no clorine bleach. Additionally all fleece items should not be washed with fabric softener.
