Les Apaches (pronounced uh-PAHSH not uh-PATCH-ee) otherwise known as the Apache Gang was a collective of vagabonds and wayward wanderers that roamed the streets of Paris from the late nineteenth to early twentieth centuries. Paying homage to the Native American tribes of the Apaches for their alleged ruthlessness. Notoriety for these violent tendencies birthed a dance that became "the dance of the underworld."
Fixated on this dark-alley history of the Belle ´Epoque persuasion. That from a seemingly harmful and vagrant subculture sparked a movement of passion. Taking cue from a concept that even the most unruly of persons (or in my case objects) can be translated into a thing of beauty.
