Bright abstractions of dance made into pendants.

In my paintings abstractions of dancers explore the energy and movement of the dance experience. The interaction between these forms describe the exchange of energy and communication between dance partners. By transforming the recognizable human figure into abstract forms, the viewer can investigate the movements and interactions of the dance and not the people involved in the movement of the dance. My intentions in creating these abstractions of dance are to encourage my viewers to contemplate the energies of music and communication between dancers that influence movement and the results of the dance.

I am a mom, a ceramics teacher and an abstract painter. My paintings have led me to be a seller on Etsy. In the efforts to make my paintings seen and appreciated by a larger audience I have decided to make my paintings into resin pendants. I hope that my colorful paintings can now embellish wardrobes as well as living spaces.

Most pictures are availble in a round or square pendant. Rectangle pieces are *usually* rectangles only. You can order pendants with accenting seed beads for an extra $10.00.
