apronanatomy's Shop Announcement

Thank you, D Home, for honoring me with "Best Aprons" in the spring issue 2012 and D Wedding, for featuring two of my muslin aprons on a full page. I still wear an apron every day and hope my designs bring inspiration to others.

"Form follows Function" and that's the way I approach the anatomy of an apron. A gardener's apron holds a different set of tools than a cook's or a painter's so the design of it revolves around how it is used.

My aprons are handmade, one-of-a-kind so each one is made from different fabrics, new and vintage. I always hope each one will be passed down to future generations in a loving spirit. Aprons fulfill a purpose and make a statement about the individuals wearing them.

Savor the good times and celebrate often.
