APRONanatomy

apronanatomy's Shop Announcement

APRONanatomy is the brainchild of Renee R. Graham. I cut and pin handmade inspirations around the famous adage, “form follows function”.

Since aprons are worn for different reasons, the construction of it will change accordingly. Pockets will vary in shapes and sizes. Bibs will have various requirements. Skirts may cover a little or a lot. Ties and sashes are gauged by length and width. An apron is only as good as its parts.

One-size-fits most is a typical measure, but plus and petite sizes can be made. An apron is a very personal piece of clothing so I like to monogram and add special features.

I believe that aprons commemorate a moment in history whether it's Mother's Day or a bridal shower, 4th of July or Christmas. Whether you're a cook, painter or candle stick maker, every apron has a story. Aprons fulfill a purpose and make a statement about the individuals wearing them.

Like all forms of art, my aprons are handmade to stand the test of time with the hope that they will be passed down to future generations in a loving spirit.
