What is a light meter, and why would anyone want to gut one?

Light meters are devices used in photography (with ye olde film) to measure light and determine the correct exposure. I had a few broken ones lying around and I found their innards to be perfect for jewelry. Some notes on necklace length:

16-18 inches: short necklace. If you are wearing a V-neck it will not hit the V of your shirt. Short necklaces bring attention to your face.

19-26 inches: long necklace. This style is trendy and will elongate your figure

26+: Crazy! But I’ve been known to make them.
