artandneedlework's Shop Announcement

New Made-To-Order Listing for A-line Skirts has Been Added!

Crafting has been part of my life for a long time, and so is selling what I make. I've been selling what I make in a "Craft Room" that adjoins my family's farm market. I've also sold a few items on Ebay. And now I am very excited to bring my work to Etsy visitors; it is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time!

Behind the name: I included St. Gemma in my shop's header as a way of remembering the holy life of Saint Gemma Galgani. She was a young woman who lived in the late 19th century, who, like me, enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and knitting. She was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1940 and is the patron saint of students and those who suffer with back ailment. To learn more about this remarkable young woman, visit http://www.stgemmagalgani.com/.
