Finally, after the children are back in school, the beads begin to show... wonderful Oceana Beads, tasty cupcakes. I and Lauren of Paperelle will be at the Nyack's Famous Street Fair on Sunday at Broadway near the HSBC Bank, October 11th, from 10AM to 5PM, rain or shine, and I will be with Lisa of Panda with Cookie at the Crafts in Chelsea street fair on Saturday October 17th from 10AM to 5PM (raindate Sunday October 18th)on 21st Street between 8th & 9th Avenues!

My lampwork or flamework glass beads, made from soft glass rods that are carefully wrapped and molded on steel mandrels after being melted in a super hot oxygen and propane flame. All my beads are individually made so each is unique and different from any others, even if I use the same design. I develop my own designs, mixing glass stringers to my color needs, and making my own murrini and twisties. They are properly annealed, cleaned, and turned into pendants or earrings with sterling silver findings, glass beads, or genuine pearls.
