IMPORTANT ORDERING & SHIPPING INFORMATION

* The wallets listed in my shop with a photo are in process and ready to mail in the time frame stated in the shipping information at the bottom of the listing--typically 3-5 business days, but occasionally longer due to order volume or circumstances of life! (If you are also ordering accessories, the turnaround will be the longest of the stated times.) I rotate through a variety of fabrics and list wallets depending on what is in process or already made. I do not add new listings on Sundays.

* If you prefer to choose different fabric(s) than what you currently see in the shop, you may purchase a custom listing according to the wallet type you desire. The availability of custom requests fluctuates based on my current order volume. If I am accepting custom orders of a particular wallet, that listing will be available for purchase in the shop. If it's not there, check back in a few days. Please read the product description thoroughly for instructions and the link to fabric choices.

* Divide-It Deluxe wallets are always custom listings; I do not make them up ahead of time. I do offer a few pre-made Zip-It and Band-It systems, but most of my pre-made items are Divide-It Wallets.

* Custom wallet orders and choose-your-fabric accessories have a longer turnaround time--typically 8-10 business days, but occasionally longer depending on order volume. Please check the shipping information at the bottom of the individual listing.

* I always include a shipping timeline when creating my listings, and it's hugely helpful to me if you take a moment to check your invoice for the answer to "When will my order ship?" since that's where I'll have to check if you ask. :) The date can be found above your name on your Etsy invoice. There are two ways to view it. Either click the link next to the order number on your emailed receipt, or hover over "Your Account" on the top right of this screen, select "Purchases," find the transaction, and click "View Receipt."

* In regard to turnaround time, "business days" are M - F (excluding holidays) rather than actual calendar days.

REGARDING THE CARRY-IT-ALL CASH ENVELOPE SYSTEM WALLETS

In order to be able to offer these and still make my other products, I have a particular system for ordering these full-feature wallets. To keep it fair for everyone who is waiting to order a wallet, I am unable to make exceptions.

On the first day of the month, at 8:00 AM PST, I post a Carry-It-All Wallet listing showing 10 available. To ensure my working and international customers are accommodated, I add 5 more at 8:00 PM PST. Once those 15 are purchased, I do not list any of the Carry-It-All Wallets again until the first day of the next month. Turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks; completed wallets will be mailed by the end of the month.

MY STORY:

In December 2010, I discovered laminated cotton for the first time and decided to try a tutorial I had found for an envelope system wallet, loving the fact that I could use beautiful designer fabric yet easily wipe it clean. It was my first time ever sewing in a zipper, and I was terrified. When the wallet was finished after hours of work, I breathed a huge sigh of relief that I was done and would never have to make one again. Or so I thought...

When friends saw my wallet and then I shared photos with my blog readers, I had people begging me to make them to sell! Since the tutorial gave permission to do so, I sold them first on a limited basis via my blog until I finally took the Etsy plunge in October 2011.

As of January 2013, I no longer make that particular style of wallet that started me on this journey. All of the items I now sell are my original design and the result of both using my own products and gleaning feedback from others who use them. I am always evaluating ways to improve and add to my product line so that it continues to meet the practical and aesthetic needs of my customers.

Since I am passionate about people living within their means and getting out of debt, I have intentionally designed several envelope systems along a spectrum of price points with the hope that each of my customers can find a product that fits her budget, appeals to her personal taste, and functionally suits her needs. My wallets and accessories are handmade by me using designer laminated cotton which is lightweight yet very durable, CPSIA compliant, and free of BPA, PVC, and phthalates.
