Addicted to color!
Hiya! I'm Sayra, the artist behind this fun shop. I'm addicted to color, texture, shiny things, and wool! I started out making ladies hats in 1991. After years of dyeing silk, blocking straw hats, I switched gears. I had a baby and cut back on crafting a bit, I began felting with wool...and it took hold. An obsession for all things wool began!
An interesting yet unexpected journey began. One that included spinning yarn and most recently learning to knit! I love exploring color hues, and mixing them together. I dye all my fibers, and favor local wool. My studio is overflowing with baskets of colorful fibers. I also have five sewing machines! Now and then I make a few hats.
I live in rural North Idaho with my family and furry friends. I'm living the hand made dream!
