Help Me Support Susan G. Komen for the Cure!
In December of 2006, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After having all my surgeries and was well on my way to recovering I wanted to do something to help find a cure for this disease. I found my way would be through writing and sharing my experience and also though my love of jewelry making. This has also helped me deal with the emotional difficulties during this time. My anniversary date was January 30th 2008 and I am cancer Free!
For each piece of my jewelry you purchase I will donate 10% to the Foundation. To date I have donated over $750.00 to cancer research.
It is with gratitude and great pleasure that I do this. Please remind the women in your life to do monthly self checks and if they are over 40 to get those mammograms. They really do save lives! I am living proof.
