Welcome to our Awkward Grace shop, featuring handcrafted jewellery, beaded curtains, driftwood hangings, and crafts that honour beauty, nature, and the spirit. Each piece is handcrafted by artisan kimnadine in Okanagan Falls, BC, Canada. Awkward Grace is a partnership between kimnadine and her daughter, erica, an arts manager in Victoria, BC. Beads, fibres and clay are turned into unique handcrafted jewellery, textiles, craft supplies, and home decor. These handmade crafts are often made with natural materials and almost always play with light, colour, shine, texture and transparency. Using a unique, eclectic mix of beads is the signature of kimnadine's work. Mother Nature is a reoccuring inspiration in each of kimnadine's handcrafted pieces. Awkward Grace uses local, found, recycled, reused, fairly traded, and organic materials regularly.

Most of all, Awkward Grace is a celebration of beauty, nature, the spirit -- texture, colour, and light -- the awkward, and the grace. C.S. Lewis once wrote about people and how we are so awkward, and yet so full of grace. We all want to be part of something beautiful. Awkward Grace is a way for us to do just that.

We care about the world and our environment! All purchases will be shipped in recycled packaging. Green materials will be used whenever possible.
