Baca Cara is Latin and can be translated as "valued bead" or, in a metaphoric sense, as "treasured jewelry". Base of almost all my handmade art jewelry are the antique and vintage glass beads and components I have been collecting for years. I combine vintage and contemporary, and preferably add different natural materials as semi-precious stones, amber, pre-bann ivory, seeds, horn, wood and ceramics. Metal components are in most cases of sterling, Thai Karen high content silver and gold plated sterling silver.

Most of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind. But if I have enough of a particular vintage bead, I can make a similar design again.
