We are a sister duo:

Sara is an illustrator / graphic designer / screen printer
(username: barkdecor)

Shana is a jewelry designer

We offer a wide range of hand made apparel, home decor, editioned fine art prints and jewelery, all made and designed by us in our home studio in Massachusetts.

Our goal is to share our creations with the world in the hopes that it will inspire and excite creativity in others.

We are eco-conscious throughout our creative process and print using eco-friendly water based inks and solvents. We also expose our screens in natural day light, making our process dependent on the sun.

Our products can be found in boutiques across the nation and have been featured in Romantic Homes Magazine, The Boston Phoenix, South Shore Living, clothing featured on Animal Planets "Must Love Cats" and has product on the permanent set of ABC's comedy series "Better With You."

How Bark is Staying Green:

We take great care and put much thought into our production practices to protect the environment when designing and printing.

* We expose our screens by the sun in our back yard. This makes our process very dependent on the conditions of our environment. Harnessing the power of the sun keeps our job challenging and gratifying.

*All screen printed items are original designs hand drawn and hand printed by us using all eco-friendly water based inks and water based non-toxic solvents.

*We use recycled papers and envelopes, recycle our ink cartridges and print on sweatshop free american apparel t-shirts. Our cello packaging bags are recyclable and we ship in recycled and recyclable cardboard mailers.
