'Bassa Bassa' is something my Mother used to say whenever someone asked her how she was doing. I lovingly dedicate this store to her memory.

Welcome to Bassa Bassa Art Store, where I share with you many of the characters who inhabit my mythology. Creating characters and stories enables me to understand myself and my world a whole lot more. These characters, images and places are all very special to me and in some sense they feel very much alive. Therefore, I feel honored to share my art work with you and have my work displayed in your homes, on your walls and on your bookshelves, worldwide.

My work celebrates life, death, spirit and the infinite imagination with complete creative freedom, originality and color. I consider any purchase you make here an offering of support toward complete freedom of expression for everyone.

I specialize in creating small, pastel, pencil, pen, india and acrylic ink paintings (ranging from approximately 2.0" x 3.5" to 9" by 12") on card stock paper, canvas paper, Bristol paper, Filler Board,latex impregnated paper, standard sized index cards as well as on the back of old business cards. Unless otherwise indicated, all papers I use are acid-free. I sell originals and some reproductions and all work is shipped unmatted and unframed. I am also a creative writer who makes art books out of paper, often combining images with words.
