Apparently when I was a baby one of the first things I learnt to do was cut things up with scissors, being left handed didn't stop me - the scissors were never a problem, I would sit under the table just cutting away....

When I was 6 I was asked what I wanted to be when I was grown up, my answer was 'An Artist', but my Mum told me I couldn't be an artist because they don't make any money...

I carried on drawing and painting, Mums can be wrong...

When I was a teenager I started making jewellery with old beads and wire, I went to craft fairs with my friend and we had a great time, but teenage activities eventually took over...

Once I left school I went to college to study Art and Design, it was one of the best periods of my life, but when it came to carrying on my studies and taking it further mental health problems got in the way...

During the Covid 19 lockdown I decided to stop painting paintings to sell for now, I may still do the off one if I need to get the urge out of my system (painting plays a huge role in maintaining my mental health) but I'm not sure if I will create any more fluid art pieces. For now I am really enjoying painting stones, it's become a real passion, I've had a few designs go viral on pinterest which was a massive surprise because I never believe I am as good as other stones I see on there - my flamingo and swan hearts were two in particular which just went mad! I hide a fair few whenever I visit anywhere and I am adding new stones to my etsy shop weekly. It is an addiction, I just cant stop painting them!

I'm inspired by nature, the environment around us and life in general. My days revolve around my 2 chihuahuas Ivy and Brad.

I do not believe in branding, to me this creates more waste, I recycle all packaging so while my parcels may not be the prettiest everything is well protected! I would prefer my work is appreciated in its own right rather than the box I send it in!
