News to all Bearhands and OrganicBestBakes.etsy.com supporters; Sea Turtles freely roamed the oceans long before the dinosaurs, today they are threatened with extinction. Turtle Mountain Inc. has joined with Sea Turtle Restoration Project(STRP)& are providing much needed funds & promoting awareness of STRP's fight to save these gentle creatures. To learn more about STRP's efforts & how you can help save this ancient legacy visit the STRP's website at www.seaturtles.org. This next year a portion of my Etsy profits will be divided & donated to this organization & many others. I am learning more about the tragic situation the Moon Bears in India have been struggling threw & will be adding them to the list of recipients on the donation list in 2010! Thank you everyone for your purchases, every little bit helps.

Happy to be back from enjoying beautiful travels, great weather & all my outdoor fairs & events. I made the most of this last season, & attended as many music festivals, art walks, craft shows & hip new scenes so I could keep up with what is going on while spreading the word about Bearhands Backpacks & accessories! Because of the randomness that takes over my life sometimes-I am apologizing in advance for how booked out my orders are. I am about 3 weeks out on orders for most items. This last year has been an amazing experience. I am trying to hang on tight while I ride this crazy wave of expansion.

I cant wait to post all my new creations. I have GREAT NEW ITEMS I came up with on the road, the best colors & fabrics from all over, & inspiration, enthusiasm, & love for what I do streaming out of me. My backpacks are my passion, I love adding hidden pockets & new designs to each one I create. I mostly stock up stores all over the northwest, but I love Esty for its randomness so I keep my shop open here for everyone I am unable to meet in person.
