I'm so grateful for the support and kind words I've received regarding my work. Maintaining a good customer-seller relationship is important to me and I want to do what I can to make sure that my products bring nothing but happiness to my buyers. Just because I don't have something listed on Etsy doesn't mean I don't have it or can't make it. Never hesitate to contact me about any questions or comments you have!
Payment
My shop most frequently receives PayPal / credit card payments. I accept personal checks and send out purchases once the check clears. Money orders are also fine. If you live in the Metro Detroit area (see below), I will accept cash in person.
Shipping
I mail packages First Class through USPS. To ensure photos stay intact, I place them between pieces of cardboard to prevent bending. I use padded envelopes. Unmounted prints are sent flat in envelopes like mounted prints, not rolled in a tube.
It's not standard practice for me to offer insurance, confirmation, other shipping options, etc., but I'll gladly do so if you ask! Any extra costs, if applicable, are the buyer's responsibility.
If you live in Metro Detroit (Wayne, Oakland or Macomb Counties) and would like to receive your purchase in person, I'd be thrilled to meet you! Send me a conversation and we can pick a public place to catch up at. If it's within ten miles of the Detroit Zoo, I'll waive shipping charges.
When I have multiple orders at a time, I typically wait for them all to be ready before mailing them out. This means your purchase may take a couple days longer to be delivered than expected. If you need it by a certain time, include that with your order. I have no issue with making a special trip to the post office for you. I just don't go out of my way to stand in line there when I don't have to!
I estimate international shipping costs in my listings but tell me if you feel the charge to send your purchase is inaccurate so I can investigate it further.
Refunds and Exchanges
Each photograph is taken (and when applicable), mounted and hand-trimmed myself. As such, there will always be minor differences between pieces but if there is anything that concerns you about something you’ve purchased from me, please let me know as soon as possible. I’ll do what I can to remedy the problem, including repairing or replacing your photograph (buyer pays shipping costs).
Additional Policies and FAQs
Every photograph I sell is hand made from start to finish. All photographs are my own and any edits - from the computer to the hard copy - that may have occurred were made by me. Mounting, trimming, threading, carving and titling (when applicable) are done personally and by hand, so minor differences between items often occur. Products shown may not be an exact match to items purchased, though I do my best to be accurate in my descriptions. Colors may differ from computer screen to in person and signatures/titles may be written in different colored ink than what is displayed. Due to the nature of customization, I may not have an item in stock at the time of purchase but I aim to send out prints as quickly as possible. I am more than happy to address any concerns before sending out purchases, so please ask if you have questions!
When possible, display your art away from direct sunlight as it causes colors to fade as well as occasional adhesive problems. Should your photograph begin to peel away from the mount, a thin layer of glue or rubber cement can be applied. Let dry, preferably under the pressure of a hardcover book or something else that is sturdy, has weight and can lie flat against the photograph.
