SHOP CLOSED, a casualty of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Because by definition breastfeeding jewelry could be interpreted as something intended for use by children under the age of 12, the law would require expensive end-unit testing on every Baby Friendly Beads necklace or bracelet. My breastfeeding jewelry has ALWAYS been designed with a baby's safety in mind, lead-free and nontoxic. However, the mandated testing that would certify this fact is far beyond the financial capabilities of my one-woman business.
