Just a little note to let everyone know that I will be putting the shop into partial vacation mode from 12/21/09 until 12/31/09. Orders for patterns can be sent as usual during this time, but any animal orders will have to be completed and mailed after the ringing in of the new year. Thanks!

Thank you for visiting the Bird and Little Bird Shop.

I make handmade stuffed toys out of natural materials. Toys are stuffed with new, natural cotton stuffing and are lovingly given hand-stitched details. I am also working on a line of sewing patterns for making lovely, handmade toys yourself. The first of these, Mostly Marvelous Ms. Rabbit and Semi-Fantastic Mr. Fox, are now available.

I generally use buttons for eyes, which are obviously not safe for the super small (under 3) set. If you would like felt eyes instead, just let me know and I am happy to make the change.
