Welcome to Bird from a Wire! I'm glad you came! Here you'll find original mixed media artwork that combines my love of nature with my love of all things wire, paint, fabric,etc... Many of my sculptures combine wire with fabric by hand stitching the fabric to the wire. This is a technique I came up with while working on wire sculpture and mini art quilts side by side a several years ago. The two combined are featured in my new book, Creative Bloom. Each work here is unique and each is special. I am so glad you stopped by, and please come again!
