Bird Trouble is a handcrafted line inspired by the mystery story of a found textile, the lives of the loud free-spirits who run when they’re told to walk, and the sweet intimate sound of a trotting sewing machine when it resembles the sweet hum of an aged harmonica.

Bird Trouble is solely a project of Alexz Sandoval. All items are made in her Buena Park, Chicago home studio. Everything from finding her vintage or repurposed materials, to designing, to handcrafting her products, to branding the Bird Trouble lifestyle.

BT encourages the simple things in life. We live for the pride of expression & individuality. We believe strongly in the movement of American handcrafted indie businesses that keep us believing in honest customer service, true devotion to one’s skill, & good rounded humanity.
