Welcome to my shop policies!
I have tried to lay out all the info I think you might need when you buy from my shop. If you don't see an answer to your question here, please don't hesitate to contact me through the "Conversation" feature of your Etsy account, or at tara(at)tarafortin.com. I am nice! :-)

***********Print Quality Information************
-I print in house! (Which means I personally print each art print.)
-My prints are open edition, with the exception of ACEO's
-My prints are high resolution, printed on a quality Epson photo printer.
-I use Epson heavyweight matte photo paper, and the images are crisp and vibrant.
-My prints have a permanence rating of 97 years under glass, or 133 years under UV filter glass. If for some reason you kept them in an album, they have a permanence rating of over 200 years.
-I sign and date in pencil on the back of all prints.
Payment
I accept Paypal only. I do make *some* exceptions on a person by person basis, so feel free to contact me if you are anti-Paypal, and we can work it out.
- Please pay for your item within three days from the order date. If you have problems completing a transaction just contact me to let me know.
- If you want to cancel your purchase, just contact me and I can undo the sale though Etsy. No hard feelings! We all change our minds sometimes.
Shipping
I ship with Canada Post. I use air mail unless otherwise stated.
-I am a Canadian! So please keep that in mind when you see my shipping costs.
- I refund overcharged shipping when I print your postage. If you were charged $3 more than actually shipping costs, I will just refund it to your Paypal account.
- If you need expedited shipping contact me and I will give you a quote. Please do this right away after purchasing.
- smaller letter sized items do not have a tracking number.(pins, prints, paper goods)
- I often use recycled packaging (boxes, bubble wrap, cardboard) but I make sure your items are wrapped in clean and new material ,and are safe and secure. I ship prints in flat bend proof mailers with the print in a clear plastic self sealing sleeve.
- I do not offer pick up to local people.
- I ship anywhere in the world! BUT I do reserve the right to refuse to ship to any location.
- All customs fees are the buyers responsibility. I always fill out customs fees with the correct price you paid, and will not put "gift."
- If the purchase is a gift, I will ship to the giftee's address, but you become responsible for the package once I ship it.
- I ship next day after payment.
Refunds and Exchanges
- I offer refunds and exchanges on all non-clothing and non-custom orders. If the item is in original condition, with all pieces and undamaged, you can ship it back to me at your own cost and I will happily refund the purchase price.
- Please let me know as soon as possible that you would like a refund, within 2 weeks of receiving the item.
- If item has been damaged in the mail, please let me know. This only happens infrequently, so I work it out on a case by case basis.

- I will gift wrap with cute tissue and little card for FREE. Let me know who the gift is for and what to put on the card and I will ship your gift right to the lucky person.
- My home and studio is NOT pet free. I have a huge cat who can freely come in and out of the studio. I always store finished items in a clean and cat free location. I always wash all recycled wool felt. If you have severe allergies or sensitivities, please be aware.
