I love playing with fire! I make lampwork glass beads on a propane and oxygen torch using Italian and American glass rods. I also love painting on fused glass pendants. My resin pendants include prints of my mixed media paintings. As you can see, I love to use many different elements in my jewelry to make each piece unique. : )
I incorporate my lampwork beads into original pieces of jewelry. Making my own glass beads gives me more power over the designing process because I can make exactly what I need. Each lampwork bead is a miniature piece of art in it's own right, which makes my jewelry even more special. I also sell my jewelry at our local art gallery, The Gallery Shop at Fuller Lodge.
My painted glass pendants take a while to make as there are many steps required to achieve the final product. They are so much fun though, and worth the extra time. They are ready to add a pretty ribbon or cord of your own choosing.
