Hi from Bluebird Gardens Quilts and Gifts!

I've been collecting and making custom quilts and personalized gifts since 1998. I also enjoy making gifts from my garden, and have been making other handmade items for as long as I can remember!

From vintage quilts to custom quilts made out of photos, old clothes, t-shirts and wedding dresses, memorabilia, scrap book pages...if it can be scanned and printed on fabric, my fellow quilters and I can make it into quilts, pillows, shams, clothing pockets.

We also make custom quilts for home decor, baby clothes quilts and double wedding ring quilts, throws and pillows - an all-time favorite quilt design and wedding/anniversary gift but one of the hardest quilts to make.

Then there's vintage re-purposed - cutter quilts that become teddy bears, rescued rag dolls, felted ladybug pincushions and updated, old-fashioned butterfly quilt patterns.

For cat-loving friends - what's a quilt without a cat - cat pillows that turn into throws and "gift-wrapped" toys with fresh catnip from our garden. Did I mention I like whimsy?

I also help you finish that almost-finished quilt project (and promise, I won't tell!) You can also send me photos and scrapbook pages to print so you can make your own custom photo memory quilts, pillows, bags, fabric books, etc.

Although I started an Etsy account in 2008 I didn't start listing until Jan. 2010. I should have tried; it was easier than I thought!
