Welcome to Blue Koi Studio, featuring original art works by Kim (Valois) Mathieson. Blue Koi Studio is based on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, Australia where Kim lives and paints. Kim paints in a range of mediums including acrylics, oils, encaustics (beeswax plus oil paint), and also using multimedia techniques. Kim draws inspiration for her art from a variety of sources and in the course of her travels. Through her painting she seeks for herself and to share with others a gentler world that appreciates beauty and delights in color, pattern, and design.
