Handmade pottery by Marietta Theodorou-LeMieux.
You are invited to my first open studio at my new unique Crocus Hill pottery workshop and showroom on June 8, 9 and 10. I will be giving Greek "side-saddle" style wheel throwing demonstrations throughout the three day event and a broad range of my work will be available for viewing and purchase. Greek treats will be served:)
Pottery workshops begin shortly afterwards.
Visit www.galleryokto.com for more information.

ALL the photos in my store are STOCK PHOTOS. The items you will be receiving will not be the exact pieces in the photos but very very close to them, due to their handmade nature, and just as beautiful! And the truth of the matter is, that my pieces are always way better in person than in photos. (I am a better potter than photographer) :-)) You can take a look under my profile for a lot more information about me if you wish.
Sorry, due to high demand, many of my "made to order" pieces have been SOLD OUT. I am slowly catching up currently taking orders for July 2012 delivery.
Items which are SOLD OUT say so at the top of the listing.
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE LISTING before placing your order :)
You can meet me "in person" and watch me work here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxFNnIShveY
See some historic, never seen before, photos from my family's studio back in Greece, starting in 1939 with my grandfather, here: http://www.galleryokto.com/contents/family_history_1.html
(it's still a work in progress, but there is already a lot to see)
A huge "THANK YOU" to ETSY Admin for featuring my work in the June 4th, 2010 Stork Article "This Handmade Life"

My work can be found in some of the top galleries as well as Museums in the US and numerous others all over the world. It can also be seen in numerous Museums of Folk and Popular Art in Greece, along the work of my late father's, who was my teacher and sister-soul, one of the few remaining master potters in Greece. (You can Google "NIKOLAOS THEODOROU POTTERY", and see what I mean).-------**Here is your chance to buy it directly from me and learn a little about me.
