Hi, I'm Mandy. My inspiration for these bags was a documentary on plastic bags and their impact on the environment. I have always loved doing craft projects so I took all of the plastic bags gathering in my closet, and I made a purse similar to the ones here. I could not go anywhere without someone stopping me to inquire about my plastic purse. That motivated me to improve on my design and make more. Soon all of my family, friends, and friends of friends were donating all of their plastic bags to me. I now have over 80 people giving me their plastic bags...and the number is still growing. Each purse takes approximately 100 bags to transform into a gorgeous...Blue Sky Bag! I hope you love them as much as I do.
