It's been a while, I know. My life kicked into over-the-top-crazy mode this month. If you follow my notes at all, you'll know I moved, hence the lack of internet. We're in the process of selling the house now, and making trips back and forth to work on things---3 hrs each way. Hopefully it's now sold, so we can stop making two payments and I can concentrate on beads, my garden, and Punkin's 4H critters.......and have internet at home again!


4/25 Still here, lol.
Had a vendor mess-up on my last glass order, so I lost a week, but the good news is it's warm and I can work without taking thaw breaks now!

4/3 Once again, I need to mention that I do not have internet at home.....there is a contact number to text on your receipt and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. It is hubby's cell, so he'll check with me as soon as he can and get back to you.

Thanks for understanding.....it just isn't possible to answer convos without driving to town and using the library wi-fi.


3/15 Waiting for etching solution....according to UPS, it will arrive on Tues. I had expected it Friday or Monday, so it's running a bit late.
I'm also considering switching over to a tumbled finish instead of the chemical (acid) etching. It makes much better sense ecologically speaking, plus eliminating the waiting on shipment. Feedback is welcome!

2/25 Finally getting some internet time again!
This would be a good place to mention again that I still don't have internet at the house....I know most folks are aware of this, but I need to keep it at the top.
I'm also not able to do my postage online, so I use the Post Office and then send out the tracking numbers with the Etsy shipping notifications.

I'll still post updates here too, but I can go into more detail there, as well as post photos.




New Years sale starts today..........somewhat late, but I had to deal with a heating issue.
Use Newyear as the coupon code, and it will calculate a 30% discount.
A couple of things----I can't apply it on my end once a transaction has gone through, and the lead time does still apply. I'll do my utmost to keep things flying out the door, but glass has to be ordered, etc....



Ever hear the riddle about transporting a fox, a hen, and a bag of wheat across the river?
If so, you'll find the morning chores amusing......we have 1 barn cat, 13 chickens, 4 goats, and 1 llama.

The goats steal the chicken scratch, and the chickens will run the poor little kitty off her food and eat it. If the llama sees me feed the goats, he won't come outside, and the goats have discovered that the llama gets special goodies outside. He's still a baby, so he gets special rations, and we don't need to feed the goodies to the goats....

So, I open the door, hope the llama is close and the goats didn't see or hear me, and try to get the llama out. If it works, he gets impatient and starts earing and air spitting to encourage me to hurry.
Now I have to sneak in the other door, WITHOUT the llama in my pocket, throw a handful of alfalfa to the goats, scratch to the chickens, and feed the cat. If I don't guard the cat, there are a couple of hens that will move in and peck at her til she gives it to them. Meanwhile the llama is rattling the door knob. He can open the latches on his side of the barn and we have them wired shut. So far, he has not mastered a round doorknob......
