Ever since I was a little girl I've loved spending time in my room, making things. My parents used to buy me every craft kit under the sun: wood burning, leather stamping, creepy crawler making, doodle art, clay, paint-by-numbers, whew! I learned to direct myself through the sometimes treacherous process of creating a thing. Decades later I'm still doing it, failing and succeeding. Although my room is a lot bigger. Making things with my hands, expressing my opinions of and hopes for the world, is my favorite way to make a living. Sharing them with you is so satisfying; it makes my life complete. Well, that and exercise, fun with friends, reading and food.
