Bridgman Pottery strives to provide lovely, durable pieces of pottery for everyday use in your kitchen, at your table, and in your garden. I make each piece myself (with a little help from an assistant with wedging clay, rolling out my slabs, mixing glazes, and kiln-loading), hoping that it will add moments of beauty and grace to your day. I love clean design, but I do not strive for perfection. My style is slightly wabi-sabi- you'll see an occasional imperfection, thumbprint, or the evidence of my glazing on a super-humid southern day. Perfect machined pieces are never my goal, but I do try to give you my best. If perfection is what you need and tiny flaws aren't acceptable, please keep shopping elsewhere.
