It all started when my Miniature Dachshund Ladybug was, well, cold. Having a belly that is very close to the ground and not a lot of hair, she needed a coat! A coat for a dog, I thought? Being a fanatic of outerwear, I knew she couldn't wear an uninspired piece of fleece. And knowing that dogs aren't people, I knew it had to be comfortable too! So we set off in search of fabrics and patterns that would express our inspired approach to the world and also keep her warm.

Bugduds exemplifies practical yet elegant styles through careful craftsmanship, use of distinctive fabrics (often recycled!) and vintage buttons. Even dogs notice thoughtfully, handcrafted apparel, especially when it's tailored to fit their varying shapes and sizes. And as Ladybug would tell you, it's the little things.
