I started bunnyhornet when I returned home from 18 months living in Ireland. While I was there I was unable to work due to visa restrictions so I went back to my roots and started crafting again.

I learnt to knit and crochet when I was very young and it's a skill which has always stayed with me. I also learnt to sew at about age 8 and I made most of the clothes I wore in high school.

I love reminiscing and all things vintage, retro and from bygone eras. The brooches which I create are from children's books and other pop culture sources.

Most of these images come from out-of-print and out-of-copyright books and others are digital images of my own creation.
