Inspired by the Primary song, "Give Said the Little Stream" I wrote a story that helped me through a difficult time and continues to bring comfort as I now share it with others. It came to me as my husband, Phil, was receiving chemotherapy treatments in his battle with cancer. He was the perfect example of unending service despite fatigue and pain.

After his passing I secretly worked with an illustrator and publisher to print 50 copies for Christmas presents for my family. Encouraged by their response, I decided to publish it and start my own Company, Busy Beaver Press.

I recently married Richard who also lost his wife to cancer. Because we feel united by a common trial we share the importance of the messages in this simple story.

In the book, the Little Stream becomes dissatisfied as he compares himself to others. His friend, the wise, old Beaver helps him learn about filling the role the Creator has for him, and in doing so, bringing JOY to others!
