Beneath the cool, smooth surface lays the molten memory of sand mixed with the artist’s creativity. Wavy glass lines flowing into pools of color are then heated to over 1400 degrees and formed into bowls, plates, vases, and jewelry. Each piece of Calico Glass is hand made and unique so no two pieces are alike and no piece is perfect.

But then again, neither are we. ♥

(well maybe you are, but i'm not)

I've made "stuff" my whole life. Sewing, painting, building, etc. I'm not happy unless i'm making something. Sometimes, all i'm making is "a mess", but other times I stumble on something that I really LOVE to make, and others love to have. That's what glass has been for me... something I love and I hope you love it too.
