My handmade items are brought to you from the remote Yorkshire Dales, UK.

50% (or more where stated) of the price of each of my handcrafted items goes to charity (AYME - www.ayme.org.uk) Donations to AYME from this site (as of 12th December 2012) stand at $452.02 (£279.13). Also $11.85 (£7.41) has been donated to a local support group from this site. Thank you for your support so far.

Crafting, in particularly card making, is a hobby which I gain a great deal of enjoyment from. Cards are made to the highest standard using the best quality materials to hand. Often a card comes into fruition as I lay my hands on certain items in the creation process, adding to and changing the design as I go along.

All photographs used in my cards are my own photographs and capture Yorkshire scenes.

Knitting is something I am getting back into after a few years, so look out for more knitted toys and items in due course!

Buttons are a new craft material for me after catching the button bug from a friend. I enjoy playing around with buttons and create new items with them.

I have a large range of cards available, many of which can be personalised. If there's nothing which quite takes your fancy, please do contact me. I may have something you desire not listed or I could happily create something individual for you. Likewise, if there are any items in the ‘sold’ section which you desire, please do not hesitate to contact me as I may be able to recreate these items (materials permitting).

I ask that you contact me prior to buying or at time of purchase of cards regarding personalisation to ensure your request can be processed before packing and shipping.

Contact me if you have any questions at all.

Thank you for browsing and enjoying my items.

Shipping

Items will be posted to the name and address on the PayPal account which pays for the goods - so please ensure that the PayPal address is correct and up to date.

Personally, I find it difficult to calculate postage for several seperate items purchased at once (as you will understand by the varying sizes and weights of the vast array of items that I stock). If multiple items cost a considersably lower price to post at the Post Office, I will refund some of the shipping costs so that you are not overpaying (I already have this personal policy on eBay). Therefore, please rest assured that morally I would not be able to retain more money than I felt was acceptable as I am a very honest person.

Non-card items, due to their different weight and size, are charged at different shipping costs compared to cards. Please see the individual listings for shipping cost information.

Items posted to within the UK will be posted 2nd class standard Royal Mail.

Items posted to outside the UK will be by standard Airmail.

If you require faster shipping, this could be arranged at cost. Similarly, if you would like your items to be signed for, this can be arrange, but again at cost.

I will obtain proof of posting for all items, in case any dispute may arise.

Please could you simply send me a message via Etsy to let me know that your order has arrived safely. Then I can look into any problems regarding postage if items do not arrive promptly as they should.

I will endeavour to post items as soon as possible. However, it is a 15 mile round trip to the Post Office, so sometimes it may not be possible to post items straight away. Items should be posted within 5 working days of receiving payment. When I receive payment, I will send you a message regarding estimated time of posting and also a message to inform you of when the item has been posted.

Additional policies and FAQs

All feedback and opinions are welcome. I am new to this, so please bear with me if it takes a little while to get used to the transaction system.

If you like my range of cards and would like a certain card making, please contact me with details of the commission. I will try my best to come up with an suitable card.

Thank you for visiting my Etsy site. Please visit again and if you like what you see, spread the word.

I ask that you contact me prior to buying or at time of purchase of cards regarding personalisation because some cards may be shipped immediately, so delayed requests cannot be handled if the item has been packaged and posted.

Feedback for items will be left upon receipt of feedback from the buyer. This is my personal policy for a smooth running site. If any problems arrive, they should be addressed prior to leaving feedback.
