Cattail Candles - Unique, Handmade Candles

"Beauty and Art in Everyday Things" is my personal philosophy and is what led to the creation of Cattail Candles. My candles are very unique- I invented the technique (as far as I know!). A lot of people ask me how I make these candles. I have even had a couple of interested souls try to peel them back and ask "Don't you just roll up sheets of wax?" as they find out that no, they don't unroll!

I pour the wax out flat, wait for the wax to set up to the right firmness, free hand cut out the shapes with a craft knife, then they are rolled up around a wick. A piece of art you can light on fire! Way cool! Each one is a bit different, as I don't use molds or cookie cutters (they don't work!). Since I work in small batches I am able to create many color/image/scent combinations. I am happy to fill custom orders, with a minimum requirement.

Burn times can vary, but I try to give an average based on my own trials. Cattail Candles should be placed on a holder or coaster.

I do my best to achieve color accuracy in my photos, however, due to the nature of computers, I cannot guarantee colors appear correctly on your screen. Thanks for your understanding.
