We are the Central City Artist Project, a non-profit organization founded by people who believe artists play integral roles in healthy communities. We are creating a residency program in the heart of Central City, a populated, historic neighborhood in New Orleans struggling to overcome not just Hurricane Katrina's destruction but also two long-standing community scourges - poverty and crime.

Visual artists from around the world have generously donated original drawings to be silk-screened on 100% cotton t-shirts. These Ts are limited edition and hand-printed.

All proceeds go to house, feed and provide studio space for artists who will visit Central City to work and teach neighborhood children.

Buy one for yourself, and, hey, if you really want to see your money go far, buy another. Then tell your friends to buy one too.
